You’re invited to a special one-day, semi-private event offered to members of the military and other select groups, and not open to the general public.
Admission Cost: $25 (ages 3 and older)
Parking: FREE
Hours of Operation: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Gates Open: 9:30 AM
Tickets are valid for purchase the day of the event only.
Unlimited ticket purchases are valid with a military ID for active, retired, DoD, and civilian. You MUST present your military ID at the Ticketing Services Building at Tram Circle to receive the discount.

If you are not active, reserve or retired, but are an honorably discharged veteran, make a photocopy of your DD214 or your separation papers showing your discharge classification and you too can buy the pass for $25.  And bring the family – 3 and older is $25 each when you buy the tickets.  You will also be asked for a government issued photo ID (like your driver’s license) as proof of your identity and the DD214/papers.

Lester L Johns Dies

Lester L. Johns, 80 of Lewistown died Saturday, January 4, 2014 at York Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of Ardella M. (Dysard) Johns. Mr. and Mrs. Johns celebrated 59 years of marriage before his death.
Lester was born in Pennbrook on June 15, 1933 a son of the late Chester A. and Mildred (Zimmerman) Johns. He was a retired Chief Master Sergeant with the U.S. Air Force and the Air Force National Guard. He served his country for 42 ½ years.
In addition to his wife, Les is survived by a son, Michael Johns of York; 3 daughters, Cathy Kessler of Hershey, Diana Johns of Bellville, Shari McConaughey of Mapleton Depot; 7 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; a brother, Earl Johns of Leesburg, Florida and a sister, Doris Sams of Lenoir, NC.
A private graveside service will be Thursday, January 9, 2014 at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
