Free Air Force Band Concert at Cassel Vineyards

Who: 553d Air Force Band
What: Music and dancing and wine tasting
When: Friday, June 28th from 6:00 to 8:00 pm
Where: Cassel Vineyards of Hershey’s Tasting Room, 80 Shetland Drive Hummelstown, PA 17036
Why: 20% of the days winery sales will be donated to the Wounded Warrior Project.

Bring a lawn chair and/or blanket. No outside alcohol permitted. Admission is free. 10% military discount. Free wine tastings available.

A tradtional Air National Guard squadron, the 553rd consists of National Guard members with civilian careers who meet one weekend a month to rehearse and perform. the band has received many awards, including the Air Force Outstanding Unit award and the Pennsylvania Govenor’s Unit Citation. Its annual concert tours have taken it to Germany, Holland, France, the Azores, Antigua-West Indies, Norway, England, Denmark, and throughout the United States.

193 Benevolent League 8th Golf Tournament

The 193 Benevolent League of Ft. Indiantown Gap will be holding their 8th Annual Golf Tournament on 31 May 2013 at the Monroe Valley Golf Course in Jonestown, PA. The tournament will be a scramble format with prizes in a number of categories. The total number os persons will be limited to 144 (36 foursomes) in order to have a shotgun start at 8:00 A.M. DEADLINE FOR ENTRY IS 24 May 2013 AND IS ON A FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED BASIS!

Cost for this event is ONLY $65.00 per person, that’s $260.00 per foursome! This will include greens fee, cart, a Dinner, and liquid refreshments.

Remember this tournament is on a first paid, first served basis. You will not be considered in the tournament until your money is paid in full. Send your money in with your foursome.
