We recently had to disable a plugin that was interfering with members logging in. I have replaced the faulty plugin with a new set of security features. The old system had prevented over 23,000 attempts against our site from malicious agents trying to register. I cannot go into all the security tools we use at that makes it easier for hackers to break in. From now on Registration will be done manually for new users.
As most of you know the Pentagon and others cannot keep hackers completely out. The same is true here but I’m doing the very best I can. From time to time legitimate visitors may be turned away. Most of the time your browser will tell you why you are being turned away. For example, our security system may know that you have a virus on your machine when you do not. Many of the attempts against websites are by unsuspecting users that have been infected.
You may also be asked to leave a message etc in your browser. These messages are automated and are meant to throw off robotic and denial of service attacks. You may experience being thrown back to the home page when you click a Page or Post link. This is also a security feature to stop hackers and unwittingly infected users.
So, what should you do if you are legitimate and you are being blocked?
Turn off anything on your computer that hides your identity and try again after you delete your browser cache.
Run a virus scan if our website page tells you to do so.
Update your browser if our admin area tells you to do after logging in.
If you get locked out for too many log in attempts come back in an hour or two and try again.
If all this fails reply to this email address with your IP address, Phone number and description of your particular issue. You can find your IP address by going to WhatIsMyIP.com.

Mike Kelly
