Hi John, I had sent Larry a personal email relating to this. According to Randy Eckert it does not cost any more or less to send the paper newsletters. I too recommended removing paper for those who have email. &lt;strong&gt;The second reason&lt;/strong&gt; they send these via snail mail is to make sure addresses are correct. The post office lets the Association know if the address is no longer valid or if the person left a forwarding address. I&#039;m a technology person and would run things differently but I understand the old fashioned way of doing things allows them to keep records of physical addresses. If I were to make a follow on recommendation it would be to take life members who have email and remove them. I do not see the need to have a physical address for all our members. I do see the need to have a physical address for those who are annual dues paying members. I even tried to turn the Association on to using PayPal to collect dues. However, since some folks do not have the web and the people who are responsible for collecting the money are volunteers, it became too confusing for them. I hope that helps to clear things up.
